Trains from Shenzhen

Shenzhen has 4 direct high-speed destinations. Times below come from the current national timetable; fares and live seat availability are confirmed when you search.

Stations in Shenzhen

Futian · Shenzhen North · Shenzhen station · Shenzhen Pingshan

Shenzhen has four stations doing different jobs: Futian in the city centre for high-speed trains to Hong Kong — about 14 minutes to West Kowloon — and some northbound services; Shenzhen North in Longhua for most long-distance high-speed trains; Shenzhen station in Luohu for conventional trains and the foot crossing; Shenzhen Pingshan in the east. Futian and Shenzhen North are about 25 minutes apart by metro.

Tickets are passport-linked. Walking into Hong Kong at Luohu or Futian checkpoint is a separate border process and needs no train ticket.

Getting to the station

  • Futian is on metro lines 2, 3 and 11, directly under the civic centre.
  • Shenzhen North is on lines 4, 5 and 6; about 25 minutes from Futian.
  • From Bao'an airport, line 11 reaches Futian in about 30 minutes.
