In short
Chongqing Jiangbei runs a smaller bus network than many comparable Chinese airports: the official airport bus page currently lists only two services, Airport Express K01 and a free inter-terminal shuttle. K01 leaves from the express ticket kiosk outside door 9 on Level 1 of Terminal 3 and runs via California Garden, Damiao, Shangqingsi and the Great Hall to its terminus at Jiefangbei Guotai Square — about 65 minutes for ¥15 a head, with children under 1.3 metres travelling free. Coming back to the airport, you board at Jiefangbei and ride via the Great Hall, Shangqingsi and California Garden to Terminal 3. No fixed last departure is published: buses start at 08:30 and keep running until about 30 minutes after the last arriving flight of the day, and after 22:30 a bus goes within 30 minutes of the first passenger boarding. The second service is the free inter-terminal shuttle, looping T3 – T2 – T1 – C3 – T2 – T1 – T3, which takes about 15 minutes from T3 to T2 and 23 minutes back, with only four departures a day: 07:15, 08:15, 16:30 and 17:30. Both services are self-service: pay with coins or scan the Chongqing public transport QR code in WeChat Pay, Alipay or Cloud QuickPass, and a Yijutong or China T-union card works as well. International credit cards are normally not accepted on board.

Bus or metro from CKG?
In a hurry or watching your budget, take Line 10: 21 minutes and ¥4 every few minutes. With a lot of luggage, or if you are staying near Jiefangbei, K01 gives you one seat the whole way — but budget about 65 minutes for it.
Other sites list lines K06 and K07 — do they still run?
The airport’s official bus page lists only K01 and the free shuttle; lines such as K06 (Chongqing West) and K07 (Shapingba) are not listed there and their status cannot be verified. This page follows the official list — confirm on site or through the airport.
