Zhengzhou Xinzheng (CGO) keeps its rail station inside Terminal 2’s transport hub: Xinzheng Airport station takes 9 minutes to Zhengzhou Aviation Hub, 15 to Zhengzhou East, 24 to Zhengzhou station, and further south Xuchang North (28 min) and Zhoukou East (72 min). Metro Chengjiao (Line 9) and the Zhengxu line share the same hub, so you never step outside. Train tickets from here can be booked on traintickets.travel.

Follow these steps. From baggage reclaim to the train, it all happens indoors.

Bags collected, head down to the GTC
Follow the “intercity rail / metro” signs down from arrivals: level B1 holds the rail concourse, B2 the platforms, and the metro sits on the other side of the same hub.

Zhengzhou Railway describes roughly one service every 40 minutes between 06:00 and 22:00: 15 minutes to Zhengzhou East, 24 to Zhengzhou station. Check the timetable for your train.

Heading south without doubling back
Xuchang North (28 min) and Zhoukou East (72 min) are served direct. For Xuchang East on the Beijing–Guangzhou line, change at Zhengzhou East or take the Zhengxu metro line from this same hub.

From plane to train
Follow these steps. The station is not in the middle of the terminal — you walk a signed indoor passage.

International arrivals come into Terminal 2; the transport hub is one level down from baggage claim.

Pick intercity rail or metro in the same hall
For Zhengzhou East, Xuchang or Zhoukou use the rail gates; for stops across the city use the metro gates. They are metres apart.

Taxi rank is on the south side of the GTC: from the T2 arrivals hall on Level 2, cross footbridge 1 or 2 and turn left. The airport publishes no reference fare to downtown.
