Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport成都双流国际机场
Chengdu Shuangliu (CTU) has its railway station directly below Terminal 2, about eight minutes from arrivals on foot: 15 minutes to Chengdu East (¥8) and 10 minutes to Chengdu South (¥8). Metro Line 10 serves the terminals too, reaching Chengdu North railway station in 50 minutes (¥6). Tickets can be booked on traintickets.travel.

Last train about 23:12 from Terminal 2 and 23:15 from Terminal 1; Chunxi Road is also roughly 50 minutes away. For high-speed Chengdu East, take the intercity train beneath T2 instead — only 15 minutes.
Getting from the plane onto a train
Shuangliu is Chengdu’s older airport: each terminal has its own metro station but shares one intercity line, so check whether you are at T1 or T2 first.

Eight minutes down from Terminal 2
From T2 arrivals, follow “railway station” down. Coming from T1 you need to reach T2 first via the link corridor or free shuttle — allow another 15 minutes.

Ten minutes to Chengdu South, fifteen to Chengdu East
Both cost ¥8. Chengdu East connects to the Chongqing, Xi’an and Guiyang high-speed lines; for the panda base, change to Metro Line 3 there.

There is a night bus after the last train
The night express to Chunxi Road costs ¥2 and runs into the small hours; for Tianfu Airport there is a ¥25 line between 00:00 and 05:00.

The 240 hours run from 00:00 the day after entry. Tourism, business, family visits and similar activities are allowed, while work, study and news reporting still require a visa obtained in advance.

About 30–45 minutes to the city centre (Tianfu Square / Chunxi Road), roughly ¥60–90 off-peak (up to 60–75 minutes in rush hour) — a third-party travel-site reference range. Official taxi ranks: about 50 m south of Exit 6 on the T1 arrivals level, and at the pedestrian crossing on the T2 arrivals level; ride-hailing pick-up follows the “Ride-Hailing” signs in the arrivals hall.
