Terms of Service

1. What we do
TrainTicket.travel is a booking service for rail travel. We check live seat availability, take your passenger details, and arrange ticketing on your behalf. Tickets are issued in the name and passport number you provide.
2. Your booking request
Submitting the booking form creates a request, not a confirmed ticket. We verify availability and then send you a payment link. No money is taken at the request stage, and no ticket exists until payment is received and ticketing completes.
3. Passenger details
Names and passport numbers must exactly match the travel documents. Rail operators reject boarding when they do not. You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you submit. Passport data is encrypted at rest and used only for ticketing.
4. Prices and fees
Fares are quoted in the currency shown at checkout and include a service fee. The local-currency fare published by the railway is displayed next to every quote, so you can always see the underlying price.
5. Payment
Card details are entered on the payment provider's own page and never touch our servers — we receive only the result of the payment, not the card number. We take payment before ticketing, because the railway charges us at the moment the seats are issued.
6. Changes and cancellation
See our refund policy for the deduction the railway applies at each point before departure. Railway rules change from time to time; the rules in force at the moment of your request govern.
7. Liability
We are not the carrier. Timetables, delays, cancellations and onboard service are the responsibility of the operating railway. Where the railway cannot honour a booking we have confirmed, we refund the full amount paid to us.
