Two main routes: the Airport Link Line is fast (40 min, ¥26), Metro Line 2 is cheap (about 100 min, ¥8) but it is the full length of the line.
The Airport Link Line is fastest: 40 minutes, ¥26, first 06:00 and last 22:15, then a 10-minute walk from Hongqiao Airport T2 into the railway station. Metro Line 2 is the cheap way — direct to Hongqiao railway station in about 100 minutes for ¥8. Maglev plus Line 2 takes about 60 minutes and costs ¥56.

The fare is a ¥4 base plus ¥0.45 per km — ¥26 to Hongqiao. First train 06:00, last 22:15.
No changes and the cheapest fare, but the full run is about 100 minutes — allow plenty of time if you have a train to catch.
Twice the price of the Airport Link and no faster — you are paying for the Maglev experience.
The last Airport Link is 22:15 and the last Metro Line 2 is 22:30. Arriving later, take a taxi (24 hours) or head into the city first and change there.
The Airport Link takes 40 minutes, plus about 10 minutes walking into the station — roughly 50 minutes in total.

Aim to be at Hongqiao at least 60 minutes before departure: 40 minutes on the Airport Link plus a 10-minute walk, then security and finding the platform.

The last Airport Link is 22:15 and the last Metro Line 2 is 22:30; after that, a 24-hour taxi.
