提醒
- Rafts are ticketed against ID. Children under 1 m and adults over 70 cannot take the two-person raft and move to the eight-person version — tell us when booking.
- Each weir is a 20–30 cm drop. Bag your phone and camera; leave valuables in the vehicle.
- Tipping the rafter is customary (¥10–20 per raft). It is not required, but the commentary improves noticeably if you do.
- In the rainy season (May–June) the Yulong can be closed for high water. The route switches to land, or the raft cost is refunded.
- The last train from Yangshuo to Guilin leaves around 20:00. A 17:30 finish works, but do not cut it fine.
A small group keeps the pace flexible. The two-person raft is splashy fun; with toddlers or grandparents, take the eight-person raft.

Gentle hills, clean water, no traffic noise. After the main Li River cruise this feels quieter and more intimate — a bamboo raft, two people and a boatman poling you along.

We did the short section from Shui'edi to Gongnong Bridge — about 30 to 40 minutes, four small drops, and lovely the whole way. A poncho is worth buying if you would rather not get your trousers wet.
