提醒
- A combined ticket is ¥190 and valid the same day. This tour buys two separate tickets so you can enter Dongzha in the morning and stay in Xizha into the night.
- Xizha’s lights shut down from 21:30 — do not leave night shots to the last minute.
- The Mu Xin museum closes Mondays; the itinerary still works but loses one indoor stop.
- No metro reaches Wuzhen. Take the train to Tongxiang, then bus K282 or K350. Driving, use car park 1 at Xizha (¥20 per 24 hours).
- Dongzha runs 07:00–18:00 and Xizha 09:00–22:00. Staying inside Xizha gets you unlimited re-entry for two days on your room card.
About 6 km on foot over stone flags and steps. Strollers work in Xizha; Dongzha’s lanes are tighter.

The classic Jiangnan look — dark timber, whitewash, water lanes — and quiet enough outside the main street to actually enjoy. Best walked slowly, in the evening when the lanterns come on.
